In His Words

I’m an award-winning video producer turned marketer that has created digital strategies for a variety of brands in the beauty, technology, and gaming space. My strength is using data to build engaging video content strategies that are optimized for social platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Instagram that convert passive viewers into customers.

I started out in this industry in 2006 as an assistant editor at Splash Media, which created online eLearning content right before high definition video became the standard and YouTube was barely a year old. I quickly became a lead editor for the majority of our projects which included clients such as McAfee, Mary Kay, Adobe, and Amway.

In 2009 I left Splash Media to start my own production company Broken Peanut Media, LLC which specialized in internal training, client testimonials, and product videos that the majority of my clients would host on YouTube to embed on their website. After producing hundreds of video projects and growing my business to six figures I transitioned full time to YouTube where I learned about video SEO, online marketing, and sales funnels using AdWords for video.

After two and half years I decided to partner with Jon Norwood and Mason Pelt to create a digital marketing agency that could handle all of our clients’ needs in one place. I watched too many campaigns underperforming because a separate agency was handling different aspects of every project with their own interest above the clients in mind.

I wanted to develop a firm that provides the same services as the agencies I’ve worked with in the past. One that would be fully transparent about everything from our tactics to our billing practices. I wanted all this without sacrificing the service quality or the results my clients needed to grow their businesses.
